New Info for Monday, April 28

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I had to visit a friend who had cancer surgery in Fort Wayne, IN. He has a page on blogspot to keep friends updated.

Halley is only two weeks away from her due date now. We've moved her inside to get used to her whelping box. Here's a couple of pictures taken today.

Hannah, if you're looking, here's a couple of new pictures of Bernie. I know you're getting excited. He'll be joining you soon.

Tasha's Back Home

Tasha returned home from the vet's today. She is doing very well - She's very thin and very frisky. I think she's glad to be home and take her rightful place guarding our yard. Thanks everyone for your concern.

No Pups From Tasha

Sadly, Tasha developed complications. The pups were so large that they caused her uterus to flip twisting the blood vessels and constricting the blood flow to the puppies. By the time the vet performed surgery, the pups were all expired. She is right now removing the uterus and ovaries, basically spaying Tasha.

So there will be no Tasha puppies. And she'll be spending the night at the vet's.

New B Litter Pictures - They'll leave us this week.

This is the last week for our B Litter to be here all together. Friday they will be seven weeks old, well-weaned from the mother, and will be traveling to their new homes. Congratulations new owners!!

Tasha at 8+ weeks

Tasha strikes a classic pose, but this time carrying a little more weight.

You'd pace too if you were due in 4 days.

Back and forth . . . and rest.

Back and forth . . . and rest.

Whew, that takes a lot out of a pregnant girl.

Pace, two, three, four . . . Come on let's work it up.

Gotta stop and rest . . . that's every other step.
