6-1/2 + weeks - Only One Pup Left

At almost 7 weeks old, Darla is the last blue pup left. She has such a playful personality, not a snuggler, always on the go.

First Meal for the Blue Pups

We've started supplementing the pups' meals with a formula mixture of canned milk, karo syrup, and baby rice cereal. They all dug in apprehensively at first - but they soon learned to eat heartily.

The Blue Pups at 3 Weeks

On Tuesday the pups were three weeks old - their eyes were open - and they were walking around being little monsters. We took some pictures of them last night. Here they are.

Reba - OFA - GOOD

When we got back on Sunday, we were pleased to find Reba's OFA certificate had come in the mail Saturday. Her hips check out GOOD. Her registered name is Baeaea von Idinallyn, named so by her dam's owner.

Gone for a Week

Last week, Judy and I took a trip - I did some work up through Kentucky and went to my home office in Fort Wayne, IN. While we were in Fort Wayne, we hopped over to Decatur, IN and visited another breeder, Jackie Baughman, and her dogs - Shelby, Diablo, Angel, Pleasure, Sky, and Avalanche. Then we went with Jackie to a UKC dog show sponsored by the Ohio Toy Fox Terrier Association in Wapakaneeta, OH. Here's a picture of Jackie, Judy and Sky at the show:

Jackie was showing her 4-month old white GSD named Sky. Sky won her breed puppy division and then took Best in Show for the whole puppy division. Jackie was so excited. Here's a picture of Sky sporting her "Best in Show" ribbon:
